I have a friend who is not settled in a job right now. Things have changed, and she is searching…for more.
Been there?
I have…and boy, when I was in the middle of trying to figure it out I felt horrible about myself. When I looked around me it seemed as if everyone was on cruise control and happy in their profession. I would wonder, “Why can’t I find that occupational happiness?”
So this morning, when I was checking in on my friend, this sentence just popped into my head and I texted it to her:
“It will all work out, you are just taking the scenic route.”
She laughed, and I think it brightened her outlook for the day.
I am sharing this with you because this could be where you are right now. Maybe this is just what you need to keep driving on.
Not all of us land fast or easy. Don’t lose hope, don’t lose faith, you too deserve to get up everyday and look forward to your life’s work.

With that little tidbit, I fast forward to let you know I am in the midst of a 2 week marathon of crazy busy life. It is filled with work, change, fun, and team effort. I am looking forward to sharing it with all of you once we get across the finish line—of this race!
