Is this cool, funny, or sad? Margaret and I were occupied on Friday afternoon in the office with the topic of action figures and what Chat GPT perceives us to be. I guess this has become a “thing.”
I admit, it was fun, especially at the end of a gray, rainy, and busy week of work.
But recently, it has given me another reason to pause and think about the scary, sad state I feel we are headed towards due to AI technology.
I am worried it is shutting down human creativity and the ability to think for ourselves. We have become physically lazier and more reliant on a computer to do things for us rather than with our brains and hands.
(While I write this, I am constantly “fighting” with Grammarly about the structure of my sentences, and rewriting them for me.)
It’s the story of progress. I understand.
But I am still worried. Anyone else?
We keep going further down a rabbit hole that I am afraid we will never come out of. And it’s coming at us faster than we can keep up with.
So, to return to the original article, there is an action figure on the World Wide Web called Kate Ziehm—the Ag Connector! Margaret and I let A.I. create it.

Let’s turn the tables, though. I decided to design my own action figure. It is derived from more than the internet’s information on me. This is a depiction of what I know about myself. And believe it or not — it was fun! Here we go–minus the computer picture–use your imagination!
