Dear Readers,
This is Jacob, my mother Kate’s middle son.
Most of you probably know me as the one who plays a ridiculous amount of basketball, enjoys the lake, and eats donuts with her–we love our donuts. It does get a little crazy at times being in our family, but we have fun, that is for sure.
I am now 14 and in the 9th grade. I run cross country and play basketball. Just recently I started a new goal, working on a fundraiser. This is something that I have wanted to be a part of for a long time now.
Myself, along with 5 of my close friends, are raising money for a very important cause, research on blood related cancers.
We are doing this through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We are raising money to better the treatments and cures for blood cancers so patients can live better, longer lives.
My team, Maeve’s Miracles, is made up of 5 of my friends. We have until March 13th to meet our goal.
We have all been touched by cancer. It is a terrible disease. Whether you have had it yourself and are a survivor, are currently fighting for your life through treatment, or have watched a loved one suffer through it. You know…it hurts, on all levels.
I’m asking, that if you have any desire to help us on this mission that you consider making a tax-deductible contribution to our team.
Please use the link in this letter, below, to donate online, quickly & securely. You will receive an email confirmation of your donation as soon as it is made.
I thank you in advance for your support. You will make a difference in the lives of thousands of patients battling blood cancers. I really appreciate your generosity!
