Last Monday I shared this video of Admiral McRaven’s commencement speech on my LinkedIn account. Many of my connections reached out to say what a great speech this was to kickstart their week.
You aren’t going to hear it on a Monday, it will be Friday, but maybe there will be one point that hits a chord with you that you can think about all weekend and carry with you into next week.
Sometimes all we need is a reminder to get the juices flowing again and get back on track.
I have watched his speech probably 4 times over the last week and a half, and, each time I listen, a different point resonates with me.
Tonight, it’s the 6th suggestion, “Sometimes, you have to go head first.”
