Wow! Where did the summer go?
First day of school, first day of professional football season and I am left scratching my head thinking that it seems like just yesterday that the kids were playing lacrosse, throwing the baseball and dusting off the golf clubs.
We had a great summer, just very busy. Filled to the brim with activity.
Basketball camps, farming, showing cows, spending time at the lake. Here are some scenes that wrap it up nicely.
And as much as I welcome the carefree days of summer..I always eagerly open my arms to the steadiness of schedule, and embrace the rhythm of order that school brings back into our lives every September.
Like a cow going to her stall, a horse headed straight back to the barn, I too am a creature that prefers to know where I am going, and the schedule to which I am going to use to get there every day.
I hope everyone is feeling like they too are ready to get back to it.
Here comes the last push of 2017. Embrace, and make it happen.
