T-minus 1 week and 4 days until a whole lotta’ FFA kids are going to be pouring into Indianapolis, Indiana for the National FFA Convention.
This year the Morning Ag Clips is going to be there–casing things out.
I can’t wait to see all of the kids. I have heard that it is super large, and I am so excited to feel all of the energy that our young people are going to be brimming with.
Not only am I going to be there, but my son is going to be there too, representing NY State in the FFA Dairy Judging competition—GO New York!
But, who am I kidding? One of the biggest draws to this year’s convention is Garth Brooks. Such an icon in country music! I have never seen him in concert, so what a bonus for me!
Will these kids be able to fully appreciate the greatness of who they are going to see on stage? The Dance or The River? My gosh, it doesn’t get much better than that!
Garth was the Luke Bryan of my generation, the guy couldn’t sing anything that didn’t turn to gold.
So, sign me up, I am the media, I would be happy to do an interview with Garth and publicize it to all of my contacts across the nation. Garth should be jumping at the chance to get in the Morning Ag Clips, right?
Too bad, though, I guess Garth has his own media posse, no special exceptions for the Morning Ag Clips. I don’t think he realizes what he is turning down … maybe next time Garth? If I have the time … 😉
As I button up my plans and get ready to go, I am looking forward to a great trip. At a time in our history when agriculture seems to be struggling more than ever, it will be nice to see positivity shining in the faces of our youth, who, someday soon, will be holding the reins in their hands.
Ideas and optimism … bring it on Indianapolis! Can’t wait!
